We will be processing cornish hens tomorrow. We will have them available at Mt. Holly, Denver, & Charlotte Regional Farmer's Markets along with our other Great tasting chickens, eggs, Whole hog breakfast sausage, ham roasts, honey, sweet potatoes, cabbage, broccoli, & a few other surprises.

Hi All,

We have Fresh Pork Whole hog sausage (mild and hot, very lean); Spare ribs, BBQ ribs; Boston Butts, pork chops, cornish hens, Fresh farm raised eggs each week, Kale, Spinach, Swiss Chard (rainbow and green), Big assortment of lettuces.

For Saturday, April 28: We will have Sweet potatoes, Sweet greens, Ashe Co Cheese, Barbque sauce, Jams,
Fresh Cornish Hens. We will be at Charlotte Regional Market and Denver market. You have got to see these items.

Fall Update

We are gearing up for the fall season here on the farm. We have planted collard, broccoli, , cabbage and tomatoes. Our lambs are growing and just about ready for processing. We are now in breeding season with the ewes. We are looking forward to new lambs early next spring.

The Chickens are growing nicely. We have fresh chicken that is absolutely Devine. Our eggs are very popular.
We plan on growing chickens as long as mother nature allows.

We plan on adding whole hog sausage soon. Stay tuned for more details.

Farmer's Market News

We are getting geared up and ready for the Denver Farmer's Market! We will have fresh lettuce & broccoli. We also will be taking orders for Fresh Chicken. Whole, Half, Breasts, Legs & thighs. Get your order in today. They will fly off the table! Nothing like antibiotic & hormone free, fresh tender chicken. We will be raising some Cornish hens. They are due to arrive May 2 and ready to sale by the end of May. The average weight will be approximately 1.5 lbs. Finest in the State.
Our egg layers are getting ready to begin laying some fresh eggs real soon.

Our Lambs are growing fast & furiously. They are Katahdins so you know they will be the finest.Lamb should be ready really soon. You may want to pre-order before we sale out.

Lambing News on the Farm

We have 12 baby lambs that are 3 - 6 weeks old. They are playful & healthy.
Chickens are in their tractor growing out nicely. Just about time for them to be processed for someone's table.
We also have several breeds of egg layers/ meat birds that are in growing nicely as well.
 The Vegetables are growing much better now with the rain and warm sunshine.

Chicks have arrived

Our first baby chicks have arrived! They have been here for a week now. Cornish X; Barred Rocks, White Leghorns; Delaware, Black Sex Links; Buff Orpingtons, Rhode Island Reds.
They are all so cute to watch.

New Beginnings

Hi we are still moving forward with our construction even with the cold temps and ice. The few warm days are a blessing. Fences & Shelter must continue to be built. Chicken coop now has nice new floor & large paddock for chickies to browse under the trees.
This is very exciting!
